Puppy Level 1

The Puppy Level 1 Class is for puppies 12 to 18 weeks of age.

The idea of separating the age groups for teaching puppies is due to the different growth periods and what is necessary during these periods. This age level is like the terrible 2’s in children. Nipping, biting, chewing, and sometimes just devilish behavior. This period in their life can become very frustrating for the new puppy’s owner and for the puppy also. Proper handling at this age if based in negative can push the puppy to even worse behaviors.

Be a leader, not a push over or a tyrant, learn how to handle these behaviors and teach new behaviors built in trust and understanding. Just a few of the words taught to remove the language barrier between dog and person are Sit, Down, Stand, Look, Pups Name, and a few fun exercises to encourage your puppy to Give a stolen item, Leave it before they get something they should not have and a few fun tricks to teach your puppy to come to you.

Fee is $130.00 for 5 weeks of classes that meet once a week at the same time/day of the week as your first class for 45 minutes plus a 15 minute private session via telephone or zoom.
